1. Gavin: Hope is found in the promises of God. (Illustrations from the Pilgrim’s Progress)
2. Ker Yew: Her hope is that God gives us the best and we do not need to score straight As or get the highest paying job in the world, but simply follow Him & do what we can based on our abilities. (Matthew 6:25-34)
3. Daryl: Hope is important & his hope is that Jesus is on the other side – that all we believe in is true & there is heaven to look forward to, a place where there is no weeping, hurt or pain. (The New Zealander at Hillsongs Conference & Revelations 21)
4. Aunty Susan: God has something more in stall for each of us and you’ll find out what your hope is when you fellowship with God. Bamboo! You have to learn to remain in Jesus and do it! (He is in us, but are we in Him?)
YAM 8th anniversary
LifeSaver: Hope
With amazing food, wonderful company, heartfelt sharings & God’s awesome presence; the YAMmers had a fantastic time fellowshipping with brothers and sisters in Christ, listening to the word of God.
Gavin Tan shared about his life, and the struggles he faced growing up but he never abandoned the HOPE he had in his life.
Ng Ker Yew shared about meeting Alex (her fiance) and how God continually gave her HOPE throughout the ups and downs of her relationship with him
Aunty Susan went on to share about her life experience over the past 4 years – how God moulded her to the person she is now. Ready to take her place as the chairwoman for prayer and intercession. She recounted how God had never forsaken her despite the major difficulties she faced, despite her depression. God is indeed awesome (:
